We are immediately hiring a maintenance technician to assist the maintenance department in installing, maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery, as well as other assigned duties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide housekeeping duties in the repair shot and equipment area
• Provide preventative maintenance tasks on weekly schedule applying grease or oil to lubricate machinery
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure all team members operate safely at all times leading by example
• Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and machinery
• Assist in installing and repairing any building needs office area, break area, restroom, etc.
• Assist in building projects as needed painting, assembling office furniture, etc.
• Inform management of any machinery, equipment or personnel safety-related issues, damaged equipment, or any improvements needed
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in general building/machine maintenance
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to read and write in English
• Welding arc, mig, tig
• Ability to work independently - must be a self-starter
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving and common sense skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities
• Electrical 120,224,480
• Able to operate a forklift and scissor lift
• Plumbing
• Must have knowledge of PPE & LOTO
• Must be able to climb and work at elevations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to assist lift up to 80 lbs on a daily basis 50# unassisted
• Must be able to walk, kneel, stoop, bend, twist and turn unassisted on a daily basis
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time on a daily basis
• Must be able to maneuver to and around equipment
• Able to work in the cold and heat when required
