Step into the dynamic role of Maintenance Supervisor at wedi Corporation, where you’ll coordinate and manage all maintenance activities within our vibrant Batavia, IL facility! You’ll allocate workload and supervise a team of 3 maintenance technicians, ensuring swift responses to maintenance calls both inside and outside the building. Your keen eye for detail will shine as you oversee scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, monitor equipment inventory, and place orders as needed. Safety is paramount, so you’ll actively participate in safety meetings and address any issues that arise. Your hands-on skills will be utilized as you install and repair equipment and building needs, from office areas to restrooms.

With 10+ years in maintenance and at least 3 years in a supervisory role, your strong knowledge of engineering concepts—particularly electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems—will be a game-changer. Your ability to plan maintenance operations effectively and adapt to changing work priorities is essential for success in this fast-paced environment. Communication is key, so excellent written and verbal skills are necessary, along with the ability to read and write in English. Demonstrating strong organizational and problem-solving abilities will help streamline operations.

You must also possess the physical capabilities to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that require kneeling, stooping, crawling, bending, and twisting daily. Your keen senses should enable you to see and hear safety warnings, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace!
