Customer Service & Sales Operation Specialist
Position Summary
Provides day-to-day and advanced customer service support for specialized customer accounts while assisting with customer onboarding, pricing administration, customer and product master data management, sales support, and reporting. Supports the Customer Service & Inside Sales Manager with departmental initiatives, order management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service and support for assigned specialized accounts, including order entry, order management, returns, claims, inquiries, and resolution of complex customer service issues.
- Support new customer onboarding and ongoing account maintenance.
- Maintain Customer Master Data, item master data, sales-related data, and product information within the ERP system and customer ordering portals.
- Support customer product setup, EDI/customer ordering system updates, and customer portal maintenance.
- Perform data audits to ensure ERP and customer ordering system accuracy.
- Assist with customer and internal pricing administration, ERP price list maintenance, and pricing file updates.
- Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics on customer projects, inventory planning, product availability, and system accuracy.
- Prepare reports for Sales and Customer Service teams, including order management, backorder oversight, delivery coordination, and sales-related analytics.
- Assist the Customer Service & Inside Sales Manager with departmental initiatives, reporting, and special projects as assigned.
- Provide backup support for departmental functions during peak workloads and team absences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5–7 years of experience in customer service, sales operations, order management, manufacturing, logistics, or master data administration.
- Experience with Customer Master Data, pricing administration, EDI/customer ordering systems, and customer onboarding.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Word.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with IFS ERP or a similar enterprise resource planning system.
- Manufacturing or building products industry experience.
- Inventory planning, supply chain, and logistics coordination experience.

Job Summary:
The Regional Builder Sales Account Manager will promote wedi product sales to production home builders, prefab-modular home builders and custom home builders a s well as subcontractors involved in new home construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and promote to Builders (and to educate them on the value and benefits of wedi shower systems)
- Identify and promote to contractors and design-build firms who work for the Builders (and to educate them on the value and benefits of wedi shower systems)
- Work in team with the local Technical Sales Support Managers and Regional Sales Managers to provide educational opportunities, workshops, product knowledge trainings or test installations.
- Work in team with the local Builder sales representatives of wedi distribution to provide educational opportunities, workshops, product knowledge trainings or test installations.
- Work in team with the local Technical Sales Support Managers and Regional Sales Managers to arrange product supply for builders and contractors on competitive terms through wedi stocking distribution.
- Participate in trade shows, sales meetings, team events and internal trainings.
- Provide and share travel and activity/customer logs, reporting and market intelligence to the hiring manager for this position, the Regional Sales Manager (who you will also report to).

Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years outside sales experience in the region and with tiling related or other construction materials used by residential home builders.
- Familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements is essential
- Experience with building products or tile and flooring installation products is essential

We are hiring a Technical Application Support Manager with home base in the Batavia, Illinois area and with responsibility for technical application support for our U.S. and Canadian markets and sales teams. The position works from the office within the wedi North-America headquarters in Batavia most of the work week and with flexible worktime from home office offered. The Technical Application Support Manager will have these roles and responsibilities:

- Provide project specific product and material take offs and project quotes in collaboration with customer service/ sales team.

Requirements:
Minimum 10 years experience as a trade contractor and/ or tile installer ( tiling experience is a must) and with tiling related or other construction materials.
