Talent Recruitment, Development & Engagement Manager

Requirements:

  Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to meet current and future staffing needs.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment consisting of: sourcing, phone screening, interviewing, preparing offer letters, onboarding, and compliance training.
  • Attend and coordinate career fairs and other recruiting events.
  • Regularly produce creative recruiting activities to attract qualified applicants and enhance employer branding.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to anticipate hiring needs and build talent pipelines.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruiting reports.
  • Create and monitor retention strategies, including employee development, engagement, and recognition programs.
  • Monitor employee performance trends and recommend development strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current employment partners and build new partnerships
  • Negotiate pricing on new contracts.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop internal candidates for promotions and transfers.
  • Create employee surveys and use data to suggest improvements.
  • Conduct employment compensation market analysis for all job descriptions.
  • Coordinate monthly formal new hire orientation program to introduce new hires to the company.
  • Develop and manage internal employee referral program.
  • Manage employer branding initiatives to position the organization as a desirable place to work.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal HR policies.
  • Utilize HR systems and analytics to track hiring metrics, analyze turnover trends and implement data-driven solutions to      improve retention.
  • Provide administrative support in HR functions in all matters (including payroll and special projects).

Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing English and Spanish
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business  Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment, HR management, organizational development, employee relations, or people operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
  • Proven success in developing recruitment strategies and retention programs.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Creative mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to meet with potential employment partners, attend career fairs, recruitment events, when      required (which could involve overnights on occasion - travel estimated up to 20%)
  • Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation

Technical Sales Support Manager

 wedi Corporation (www.wedicorp.com) , is the worldwide industry leader in the manufacturing and development of high-performance and quality shower systems and backer board systems used in the construction of custom tiled wet rooms.

We are immediately hiring a Technical Sales Support Manager with a concentration and home base location in Southern California: Los Angeles, Glendale, San Diego, San Jose, Irvine, Fullerton, OR surrounding vicinities for our Western Territory consisting of Southern California and the state of Nevada (excluding the city of Reno). Your background and experience should be in the construction trades - with a concentration in installation. The primary responsibility of the job is to develop and support sales and business growth with contractors, installers, retailers, architects, builders, or wholesale distributors in the building materials industry in the territory, as well as other assigned duties. 

This is a REMOTE FIELD SALES POSITION with approximately three to four days of travel throughout the territory per week with some overnight. T

Requirements:

 Responsibilities:

  • Drive, develop, promote, and grow sales of wedi products and systems throughout the territory,
  • Develop and maintain solid working relationships with professional installers, contractors, retailers, specifiers, builders, wholesale distributors, and other key business influencers,
  • Retain current accounts and prospect new business opportunities,
  • Support professional installers with questions and assistance and offer educational training on installation sites and in workshops and classes,
  • Consult with retailers and wholesale distributors and offer training on product knowledge, product handling, and sales process,
  • Consult with wholesale distributors to improve product mix and local stock availability and turns,
  • Successfully launch and promote new and legacy products via hands-on product demonstrations, presentations & professional product displays,
  • Collaborate with our corporate resources and internal team in matters related to technical assistance, customer service, marketing, logistics, etc., to deliver exceptional standards of service to wedi customers,
  • Drive lead generation through job site visits, cold calls, prospecting etc.,
  • Develop and successfully execute field sales action plans and campaigns,
  • Achieve and exceed targets, goals, and objectives, as established with Regional Sales Manager and regional team,
  • Represent the company as an industry leader through exceptional professional standards, and a “customer first” approach,
  • Attend assigned trade shows and host product demonstrations/workshops,
  • Identify and submit new product development potentials and opportunities from a technical viewpoint,
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a background and experience in sales (minimum  4 years) and/or 4 years of experience in the building materials industry, for example: tile, flooring, renovation, general contracting, etc,
  • Ability to travel up to 4 days a week to service customers regionally and locally (which can be overnight),
  • Must be able to conduct product presentations and demonstrations confidently and professionally,
  • Technically proficient and familiar with construction design elements,
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal, be able to make sound business decisions, influence, be assertive, and close      a sale,
  • Proficient in digital systems: Microsoft Word, basic Excel, Email, Internet, PowerPoint,
  • Self-starter. Able have initiative, a good work ethic, and adapt to a fast-paced and changing market,
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must be able to travel throughout assigned territory as per advertised amounts, including some overnight,
  • Ability to able to effectively communicate in English –fluency in Spanish is a plus,
  • Must be able to lift to 70 pounds on occasion with assistance, with a carrying capability of 50 pounds,

Regional Sales Manager East - South -USA Territory

The home base for the position is ideally the Atlanta, Georgia area. Home base must be within 1 hr drive from an international or nationally well connected airport. The position includes traveling including overnight ( examples: joint traveling with sales team colleagues to visit customers, or participation in national or regional trade shows).  

The Regional Sales Manager will have these roles and responsibilities :

  • MANAGEMENT - Provide leadership, supervision, guidance and direction to assigned Sales Team Members ( includes briefing, training, evaluating, approving time off and hiring and other administrative duties). Oversee, support, maintain and grow a network of distribution customer accounts. 

  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - Work closely with VP Sales & Marketing to develop and implement regional sales plans and strategies to grow the business.  

Identify new, update current and maintain regional and national sales growth potentials.

  • SALES – Support the designated Sales Region(s) by providing necessary product training, sales training, distributor training, marketing support by coordination regional needs with wedi.

  • DISTRIBUTORS - Call on and support the Distributor network and potential new accounts. This includes product training, sales training and organizing needed support through sales team colleagues assigned to the distribution customer account or area in the region.  

  • NATIONAL – Support the wedi departments and other regions with valuable input and contributions from the regions and support national initiatives.

  • CUSTOMER DATABASE - Effectively utilize CRM system to track work on existing and potential accounts and construction project opportunities for all wedi products as appropriate. Update data base daily and provide a full activity report on a monthly basis.

  • TECHNICAL - The Regional Sales Manager possesses technical field proficiency with tile and flooring related installation and shower installation product systems such ass wedi’s and organizes and supports ongoing technical education of the sales team.

  • TRADE SHOWS - Exhibits at regional and national industry related tradeshows and helps develop effective tradeshow displays, promotional flyers, print advertisements and direct mail pieces with support from Marketing.
